Gold Bullion Stacker does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information whatsoever. There is no registration, no email address, no username, no password. You open the app and it works.
Every holding you log — metal type, weight, quantity, purchase price, date — is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's on-device storage. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.
The app makes one type of outbound network request: fetching live gold and silver spot prices. This is a plain price lookup — it sends no device identifiers, no location, no user data of any kind. It is indistinguishable from any anonymous web browser requesting a webpage.
If you enable price alerts, iOS asks Apple's Push Notification Service (APNs) for a device token — a rotating, device-level identifier managed entirely by Apple's operating system. This token lets Apple route a notification to your specific device when a price threshold is triggered.
Our price alerts work as a broadcast: when gold crosses a threshold, the same notification goes to everyone who set that alert. No individual user profile is involved, no token is stored alongside any personal information.
Gold Bullion Stacker offers optional Pro features via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All billing is handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment card details, billing address, Apple ID, or any financial information. We receive only a signed receipt confirming whether a purchase was made — nothing more.
To manage or cancel a subscription: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Gold Bullion Stacker. For billing issues or refunds, contact Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA). We do not participate in any ad network. There is no advertising in Gold Bullion Stacker — we make money through the App Store, not by selling your attention or your data.
Live spot prices are sourced from third-party market data providers and are provided for informational purposes only. Gold Bullion Stacker does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Precious metals prices are volatile. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.
Gold Bullion Stacker is rated 4+ on the App Store and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children either.
If we ever change our data practices, we will update this page and the date above. Because we collect no data today, any meaningful change would be to add data collection — we will give clear notice in that unlikely event.
